Separate Night Session system

Nasdaq’s Night Session is designed to operate in a separate system environment from the Day Session. Member firms that participate in the Night Session must use separate connectivity ports; Day Session ports cannot connect to the Night Session environment.

• Supported Night Session connectivity products include FIX Trading, OUCH, CORE FIX, OUCH Purge, FIX Purge and DROP ports.
• Night Session ports are scheduled to operate from 9:00 PM ET through 4:00 AM ET. Day Session ports operate separately from 4:00 AM through 8:00 PM ET on Business Days.
• Nasdaq’s August 28 SEC filing proposed Night Session port pricing and introductory fee waivers, but that filing was withdrawn on August 31, 2026.
• The withdrawal affects the fee proposal; it does not remove the separate Night Session port requirement or the underlying Night Session system architecture.

Operation of the Night Session remains subject to the conditions in Nasdaq Rule Equity 1, Section 1(a)(19), including Equity Data Plan readiness and an additional proposed rule change before Night Session operation begins.
